The film begins in
1989. A few short, symbolic shots show the euphoria that followed the fall of
communism. However, there rises soon a wave of protests, dissatisfaction,
criticism, complaints, demands, and there are first street riots and fights with
police. By editing the TV news from that period, a specific synthesis of those
times, where tragedy went side by side with grotesque, absurdity and drama, is
being created.
